We’ll share hotel & Airbnb options and links below all within walking distance or some options that need vehicles as well as rental options.

Getting to Nica
Getting to Nicaragua for Our Wedding
There are two main airport options to get to San Juan or Popoyo:
1. Liberia, Costa Rica – Recommended Option This is the easiest and closest airport—about a 1-hour drive from the Nicaragua border. From there, you’ll cross into Nicaragua by land. We highly recommend using our trusted private driver, Camilo, who can assist you from the moment you land in Costa Rica all the way to San Juan. He also offers car rentals.
2. Managua, Nicaragua You can also fly directly into Managua. Camilo can pick you up there as well—he’s great with both routes.
Group Travel Tip: If you're not traveling alone, ask Camilo about a van to split the cost with others.
Driver Info:
Company: South Wind Travel Driver: Camilo WhatsApp: +505 8867 2236 Mention Lexi or Gregg’s name or that its for the wedding when you message. Camilo is super helpful and can handle all your transport and rental car needs during your stay. There are also car rental options at the border if you would just like to rent somthing for your trip as well Alamo
Dress Code
We’re going formal—but make it beach-friendly! The ceremony and dinner are in the sand, so leave the heels at home and opt for flats or beach-appropriate shoes.
In Nicaraguan tradition, it’s totally normal to wear white to weddings, so we’re going with the local vibe! Please wear white, cream, or black—and skip the bright red tropical florals (as fun as they are, this isn’t a beach vacation photoshoot… it’s a very fancy beach wedding).
Elegant, not casual. Sand, not sandals (unless they’re chic).
Child
Care
This will be an adults-only wedding, but we’ll have childcare and meals provided nearby if you’re traveling with little ones. You can request this in the RSVP.
RSVP by Nov 15th
Thank You
Thank you so much for receiving this invitation — it truly means the world to me. I know a destination wedding in Nicaragua isn’t the easiest trip to make. It takes time, effort, planning, and more than a little adventure to get there — and I want you to know there is zero pressure to attend.
I decided to keep this wedding small and only invite the people who’ve really shaped my life — those who’ve been there through different seasons and have helped me become who I am. More than anything, I’d love for you to meet the person who means so much to me, and to celebrate together in a place that feels really special.
Whether you can make it or not, just know how deeply grateful I am to have you in my life. ♥️
Honeymoon
Honeymoon Fund. Your love and presence at our wedding mean the world to us, and that’s more than enough. But some people have been asking for gift ideas, so for those who wish to contribute, we’ve set up a little Honeymoon Fund to help us celebrate with an all-inclusive trip to Mexico :)

Places to stay
Here is a map of the area. You’ll find many places to stay, but keep in mind that even if some look close to the wedding location, it might take longer to walk there than expected. I recommend checking Google Maps to see the actual walking distance and time. we recommend this 3 options in popoyo:
- 2 minute walk, botique hotel recommended great location wonderful spot. Click here
- Beautiful home the property has three house options so check his Airbnb profile to see which ones. It’s about a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to our location. Click here
- Close by, little cute beach surf boutique. Click here
Janelle and Gregg will be staying at Pelican Eyes in San Juan, which has four beautiful pools and a great location. Lexi and Javier also live just down the street from them. Here are the WhatsApp links to the listings so you can see photos. Prices range from $170 to $300 per night, depending on the size of the group (one of the houses sleeps 8, so it’s a bit more expensive). There’s also a 15% discount for the wedding—wink!
If you’d like to book one of these, or if your trip is longer and you want to stay in San Juan before or after the wedding, just message Nelgin +505-8765-5020. She is the property manager and will hold it for you. There are also plenty of other options in San Juan, but this is the area where Janelle and Gregg will be.
